We care about what makes your child special. A good start is (almost) everything. The learning experience can be enhanced by gently correcting a specific difficulty, choosing a learning environment that provides a better fit oder by organizing an attractive spare time activity. Is your child underchallenged, overchallenged or a bit of both? Has s/he had difficult experiences? Regardless of the situation, a strength-based assessment can help establish new goals and gain confidence. We believe in a child-centered approach when it comes to assessments. Whilst we take note of any difficulties your child might be experiencing currently, our focus is always — first and foremost — your child’s special strengths and positive resources. Instead of labeling superficially, we look at your child as a whole. Your child will be working in a relaxed, informal setting — with an experienced and sensitive expert. If you are coming from further away, we can carry out the assessment and the discussion of the results on two consecutive days here in Zurich. You will receive the written summary by mail.  Choose what is right for you and your child: Consultation Intensive CHF 1’150.— Your consultation with us begins with the questionnaires you`ll complete before you see us – and maybe also your child`s teacher, if you like. This way we can work with you extremely efficiently. Then we`ll meet with you and your child. We use a state-of-the-art assessment procedure to evaluate your childs developmental status, special strengths and resources, attention behavior and essential aspects of social-emotional adjust-ment. Your specific goals and questions for this consultation are our guide. Based on these and the results of the evaluation, together with you we work out the answers you are looking for. You`ll take away a clear perspective and sound guiding posts to go by. Duration: about 5 hours (including a break of 1 ½ hours) Assessment EXTRA CHF 2'550.— A comprehensive four-hour assessment of your child’s current potential, complete with ability profile, analysis of current strengths and difficulties, learning style, creative potential, socioemotional situation as well as learning and attention behavior. In an in-depth consultation (1½ hours) we will discuss the results and any further questions and concerns you may have. You receive a detailed written summary (about 12 pages) with sound recommendations, which is particularly useful in complex and difficult situations. This valuable tool will make for easier decisions concerning school, education and spare time activities, and is valid for about two years. Assessment PLUS CHF 2'250.— A four-hour extended assessment of your child’s current potential, complete with an ability profile, analysis of current strengths and difficulties, learning style, creative potential, socioemotional situation as well as learning and attention behavior. In an in-depth consultation (1½ hours) we will discuss the results and any further questions and concerns you might have. You receive a compact summary of the results (about 5 pages), which includes sound recommendations, relevant addresses and links — exactly the kind of information most useful to you right now.  Assessment BASIC CHF 1'350.— A three-hour assessment of current strengths and difficulties, complete with an IQ-profile. Analysis of learning and attention behavior, important socioemotional aspects, as well as the situation at home and in school. We will present the results to you in an one-hour consultation, allowing you to benefit from the sound recommendations of our experts. Based on the assessment, you will find it much easier to make decisions, this is important for follow-up interventions or communication with your child’s school professionals. Assessment with career perspective for ages 13 and 14 CHF 2'750.— We will carry out the Assessment Extra whilst applying some career counseling tools. This allows you and your child to gain some important insights on potential career paths. This is useful for making decisions about further schooling, which subjects to focus on or simply as a motivational kick. We will inform you and your child about interest-based educational and spare time opportunities relevant to your situation, such as: summer camps, activities and contacts.
